Born Cheville Neilesh Samoedj on May 8, 1992, in Velp, Gelderland, Netherlands, ChevoBeatz is a Dutch multi-genre record producer with Surinamese-Hindustani roots. Inspired by his father, Sudesh Kumar (Bonniac SK)—bassist of the well-known Hindustani ensemble ShineArnhem—he was surrounded by music from a young age. He began his musical journey playing bass guitar in his father’s band, laying the groundwork for his later success in music production.

Driven by a deep passion for sound, rhythm, and experimentation, ChevoBeatz expanded his creative vision into music production. While his early influences spanned various genres, it was the energy and rhythm of Caribbean music—especially reggae and dancehall—that captivated him.
